You can use any of these 360 cameras, or alternatively you can use a rotator kit with your mobile phone to capture your 360 photos. As long as your camera exports your 360 photos as 2:1 equirectangular .jpgs, you will certainly be able to use it with our platform.

Can I take 360 photos with a DSLR camera?

It is possible to take your 360 photos with a DSLR camera, but in order to do this you will need a fish eye lens and a panoramic tripod head. This option offers some of the highest quality images possible for 360 photography, however if you choose this option you will need to manually stitch together your 360 photos inside a photo editing software before uploading them to our platform.

We do not advise this option unless you are an experienced photographer and have a strong knowledge of photo stitching. You will need to take a sufficient number of images to fully capture your space and then manually stitch the images. The stitching process can be time demanding if you are unfamiliar with it and can also lead to stitching errors which may result in missing parts of your spaces, or alternatively duplicate areas inside a room.
